The Usk Valley is often overshadowed by its more famous neighbour the Wye Valley. Just to the east of the industrial area of the South Wales Valleys, it is a quiet, rural area of tremendous beauty.

We will explore the small market town of Usk and visit its romantic ruined castle with so many stories to tell.

Then we will head to a church with wonderful artwork - such a surprise in this country church which seems in the middle of nowhere.

Finally we head for Abergavenny and view the Tapestry in the Tithe Barn and admire the Priory Church which has a wealth of statues and glass of interest.
